Tribute Games just revealed brand new gameplay on the Xbox, for its upcoming title. The game in question is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which is set to arrive later in 2022.

While there was an official announcement for a character’s introduction more than a week ago, this time, it’s all about the looks. So fans can get an idea about what they can expect from TNMT: Shredder’s Revenge, especially on their Xbox consoles.

Early Xbox footage for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge looks good

For those uninitiated, Shredder’s Revenge will be a side-scrolling, beat ’em up game with DotEmu as the publisher. Based on the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles saga, it’s inspired by the 1987 animated series. On the other hand, its style is based on the old arcade games from the 80s and 90s.

A few days back, the makers revealed the arrival of Master Splinter, as a playable character in the upcoming game. The beloved rat will bring with him various special combat skills for the players interested in choosing him when they eventually get the video game.

Just recently, Tribute also came up with brand new gameplay footage. Captured on the Xbox, it will surely escalate the excitement of all the curious fans, waiting for TNMT: Shredder’s Revenge.

As you can see, above, the gameplay looks quite good and smooth, despite the video being brief in duration. At least, it gives a rough idea of what to expect from the arcade-style game when it makes a debut on Xbox.

Speaking of gameplay, TNMT: Shredder’s Revenge will feature a large roster of characters to choose from. From Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, April O’Neil, and Master Splinter, players can select any of the heroes.

They will also face tough opponents such as the Foot Clan, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, and Shredder. Fighting locations in the arcade title will include New York City and Dimension X. Shredder’s Revenge will support co-op multiplayer mode comprising two people at one time. While four users will be able to enjoy it locally.

TNMT: Shredder’s Revenge releases in 2022 for PC, Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
