Nintendo is known for making great games and iconic consoles ever since it began dominating the industry. Over the years, however, the Japanese giant has also ventured into other segments. Like coming up with unique accessories such as the Labo line for the Switch which became quite a hit among the fans. Interestingly, pop star Ariana Grande also got associated with it in a unique way.

Most of the Nintendo users might not remember this but the rare occasion did arrive once, more than four years ago. Eventually, Ariana Grande ended up singing her one of the most iconic singles using only the Nintendo Labo line of products.

Ariana Grande sang ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ on the beats of Nintendo Labo!

The interesting story dates back to the time of May 2018 when Ariana Grande appeared on The Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon. She was there to promote her new album ‘Sweetener’ and one of the tracks from the same was a chartbuster at that time. This song was called ‘No Tears Left To Cry’.

While most of the fans expected the pop diva to perform her hit song, no one thought of her using Nintendo-based instruments for the same. Yes, that was the choice of Ari, who teamed-up with host Jimmy Fallon and sang ‘No Tears Left To Cry’. The singer decided to go with the Nintendo line of cardboard Switch accessories.

Although it appears to be just another scenario of a musical performance, it must have been quite a challenge for the duo of Jimmy and Ariana. That’s because the Labo accessories were not that easy to program a song using the Switch. Hence, it was quite an astonishing moment for the fans to watch their favorite singer perform her popular track in such a fashion.
