Elliot Coll, better known online as The Retro Future, specializes in repairing and reviewing Nintendo-related handhelds such as the Nintendo Game Boy. The Retro Future has over 400k subscribers and was nervous to meet MrBeast, who has such a big name in the community.

Elliot also mentioned that Jimmy has helped him and his channel grow a lot. Moreover, he revealed that Jimmy’s task of building custom GameBoys had severely impacted his YouTube channel.

Elliot Coll confessed in the video, ” I wanted to thank him for the impact that had on my channel in a unique way. With a cool surprise, I knew he would like. He told me he loved Pokémon.” He further mentions while he was scrolling around a Japanese auction site, he found a cool Pokémon theme GameBoy and decided to gift it to Jimmy at the first glance.

Elliot fixed Jimmy’s gift with his team members, Chris and Karl, at MrBeast Warehouse. Interestingly, he made Chris and Karl fix the Pokémon GameBoy while he was supervising them. After fixing the GameBoy, they invited Jimmy to review his gift.

Jimmy was extremely delighted to receive the Pokémon GameBoy. In his own words, ” Bro, this gives me so much nostalgia. All right, this makes me want to start playing Pokémon again.”
