“We Have a One-Pager” – Bethesda Studios Director Reveals Fallout 5 Standing in Their Long-Term Plans

Fallout 5 is under works and will release sometime in the future. Bethesda has confirmed Fallout 5 will happen but currently, it’s in a form of a “one-pager.” For fans who are not aware of one-pager, it’s a detailed document that includes information about a product or a service. So here, the product is a video game. And the one-pager might bear information on budget, story, plot, target audience, character-sketch, and more.

As of now, the devs have confirmed nothing about the game.

Todd Howard, who is the video game director at Bethesda game studios, said that Fallout 5 is still in the planning phase. For the moment, the top priority is Starfield, followed by Elder Scrolls VI. Starfield is all set to release on 11th Nov 2021 and fans are already very excited about this game. And so far, Elder Scrolls VI has only got an announcement teaser trailer.

Keeping these projects in mind, it’s confirmed that devs won’t be releasing Fallout 5 anytime soon. But let’s see the bright side of the news, fans will get to experience Elder Scrolls VI in the coming few years. Because Elder Scrolls VI will be Bethesda’s next project after the release of Starfield.

Fallout 5 and Todd Howard

In an interview with IGN, they asked Todd Howard if there was any chance of Fallout 5 being outsourced to a third-party studio. To which he replied:

“I don’t see… Look, Fallout’s really part of our DNA here. We’ve worked with other people from time to time – I can’t say say what’s gonna happen. You know, we have a one-pager on Fallout 5, what we want to do.”

This means as of now, the devs have not yet decided on most of the aspects of Fallout 5. But according to Tod’s response, it looks like there is a chance that the development may get outsourced. Later, he also implied that right now he isn’t sure of anything and doesn’t want to give false hope to fans. Todd also said he would love to speed up things for all the projects like Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls VI.
