Still a recurring figure in MrBeast’s uploads, he has helped the channel grow to 140 million subscribers. In addition, he is reportedly MrBeast’s very first subscriber as told by Jimmy Donaldson, known by his screen name MrBeast.

On November 5, 2020, Tyson tweeted about being bisexual on his alternative Twitter account. A lot of controversies related to his personal life followed. Now, Tyson has given yet another update on Twitter.

Chris Tyson on HRT

Chris Tyson revealed in his tweet that he has been undertaking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for two months now and spoke about the struggles of being a gender non-conforming individual. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a medical procedure that can be used to modify the hormone balance in the body for gender non-conforming individuals.

Tyson then talked about how HRT has saved his life. He also commented on how gender non-conforming individuals have to face problems just to get gender-affirming healthcare in America.

Following his tweets, friends of Chris Tyson have come forth on Twitter in support. His fellow member in MrBeast’s team and close friend, Nolan Hansen has stated he is proud of Tyson.

Another MrBeast team member, Karl Jacobs, supported Tyson by saying, “F*ck the goofy mother f*ckers keep runnin’ your own stuff,”. Other streamers also upheld Tyson on his journey of 2-months on HRT.

When Chris Tyson publicly identified himself as a bisexual individual via Twitter in November 2020, he also shared about the backlash he faced. Tyson said, “When I told the few people I did when I was 16 I got a lot of negative backlash from friends/family,”. Therefore, he was private about this topic following the backlash he faced while coming out.

Seemingly, Tyson is finally feeling comfortable talking about his gender non-conformity and sexual identity now.
