The trend of hosting a reality show and putting people in a house has been around since the early 2000s. Shows like Big Brother and Jersey Shore have provided entertainment to fans for years now. During a recent meeting of the Sidemen, Vikkstar123 suggested that they should get in on the trend. This idea had the rest of the team excited with KSI believing that they could win the Sidemen house contest.

But the plan was not to put the Sidemen in the house but to find contestants on YouTube. The proposal of the Sidemen house made the team happy that they were getting to explore new ideas. Among all of the Sidemen, KSI looked most pumped for the Sidemen House idea.

Sidemen House for Sideplus

During one of the podcasts on Sideplus, Vikkstar123 started discussing new formats for videos to shake things up a bit. One of the ideas that he brought up was one about hosting a reality show of bringing YouTubers to one house. This was pitched by Vikkstar123 as an idea for more content for Sideplus. He mentioned how they can give the contestants challenges and see if any of them instigate the others to stir up some drama.

For those who do not know, Sideplus is a paid website where fans can get some exclusive content on what the Sidemen are up to. Some perks of getting Sideplus include monthly Zoom calls with The Sidemen, weekly Q&A with questions from the members, Uncensored and unfiltered content, and much more. To make this subscription more appealing, the suggestion of starting the Sidemen House came about.

While trying to discuss when to host the show, KSI was excited and suggested that they could do it as a part of Sidemen Sunday which would give them more free time. While all the Sidemen were happy and hyped about the idea, Harry didn’t seem too happy. He expressed how it seems like it would be stressful. To this, the rest of the men explained how it would be less busy for them and more for the contestants. The rest of the team went on to explain how they would have to just give challenges and their job would be done.

Sidemen on doing something different

The planning for the Sidemen House began in depth and KSI could not contain his excitement. He said that this reality show was right up his alley as it was something different compared to what they are used to doing. KSI spoke about how this reality show will take its content up a level.

As the discussion carried on, the whole team started getting in and sharing ideas. The main point that got everyone convinced was the fact that they didn’t have to do much and this gave them more time to themselves. While the discussion progressed, they started weighing the pros and cons of the idea. Harry went on to ask the rest of the team, about what would they do if an assault took place in the house. To this, the rest of the men assured him that legally, they had everything sorted.

KSI Was Hated by a Fellow Sidemen Member and Remained Clueless About Who It Was Until 2020

KSI then took the main role in convincing Harry that this idea was a good one. By one point KSI was extremely pumped. He got up from his seat and said ” We do the same sh*t every day and wonder why we are not growing.” Soon the content creators were discussing the idea, and decided it would be a good fit for Sidemen Sunday. They decided to run the show for 3 weeks after testing out the pilot. Some of the ideas thrown around were making the contestants play for cash prizes.

Ultimately the Sidemen decided to bring in 4 guys and 4 girls to the house. 3 of each gender would be YouTubers, but the last one would be someone who could make the most viral video about the Sidemen House.
