A gameplay clip from Spider-Man 2 was recently shared on social media. At first, it seemed like a normal video showcasing the character and the virtual world. But that was secondary – the focus was on something else. The clip highlighted a frustrating gameplay issue that was trending more than a month ago, immediately after Starfield’s launch.

There are no annoying ‘Loading Screens’ in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 like Starfield and PS5 fans are elated

This is something hardly anyone will be able to deny. Since its launch in early September, Bethesda’s space epic started gaining some unfavorable opinions from a lot of gamers on Xbox and PC. More than anything else, they were extremely frustrated with the constant loading screens while traveling from one point to the other or before getting ready to perform an action. In short, it was hard to stay immersed in the open-world of Starfield due to this situation.

With the debut of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, some of the PS5 users thought it was the best time to mock their rivals. One of them recently took to X(formerly Twitter) in order to share a gameplay clip to show what could have been the result if Xbox and Bethesda made the PlayStation title instead of Insomniac’s team.

What’s in store for fans in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

The third game in the iconic Insomniac Games franchise introduced many features. The map is much bigger, allowing players to swing through Queens and Brooklyn as well. Their favorite characters, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, are ready to take on a list of fan favorite villains from Spider-Man’s famous rogues gallery that includes Kraven, Sandman, Lizard, Venom and more.

As for traversal, players will have a lot of swinging to do with the bigger map. However, the game has also brought in the famous underarm webs or webbed wings, allowing the web slingers to glide.

While Starfield was Xbox’s big launch this year, Spider-Man 2 is PlayStation’s. And with this hilarious jab at the Bethesda title, it is clear that fans haven’t gotten over the flaws of the game. Meanwhile, fans are loving Spider-Man 2. Something about the hype feels familiar, with Starfield similarly having made a lot of noise during its release, even if not on the same scale.
