After Xbox’s successful finalization of the deal, fans thought the Xbox chief would be all over MW3 with the ongoing Beta. However, this is not the scene. The most talked about gaming personality of the year, Phil Spencer is hooked to a BAFTA Awards Best Game winner.

Since Xbox had to go through a lot of turmoil to secure their $69 billion deal with famous game developer, Activision Blizzard, fans expected the Xbox chief to be invested in any of the benefits of the deal. However, it looks like he is more interested in an indie rogue-like RPG. Yes! Spencer was recently spotted by the players while engaging in Vampire Survivors.

A fan tweeted a screenshot of his gaming screen, where he spotted Phil Spencer’s profile for that specific game. The tweet read, “All Xbox fans are going into the weekend celebrating the closure of Xbox / Activision But Xbox boss Phil Spencer is still playing Vampire Survivors…”

Spencer made quite an astonishing achievement in the game by finally completing the Victory Sword Achievement last week. In fact, he also tweeted revealing his success in completing all the achievements of the game.

It was also reported last year that Spencer spent over 233 hours on Xbox with his intense dedication to the Vampire Survivors.

Exploring the Universe of Vampire Survivors

Vampire Survivors is a rogue-like role-playing game developed by an independent developer, Poncle. The game first released on Steam on 17th December 2021. However, Vampire Survivors became popular among players for its distinct gameplay style. It was a breakout game in 2022 that also became one of the most played game son Steam Deck.

In Vampire Survivors, players need to fight against a continuous stream of monsters with the objective of surviving for as long as they can. In the meantime, players can also unlock additional weapons, characters and various magic relics that provide them with powers.

The game is also set to get an Animated TV series.

Vampire Survivors received British Academy Games Awards for Best Game and Game Design. And now that even Xbox boss Phil Spencer is so devoted to the game, his fans will surely be greatly excited to try this out.
