PlayStation is having a busy month right now with some major news and titles coming out. However, no news is currently as big as Hogwarts Legacy getting an official gameplay reveal on Thursday during the State of Play event.

Fans are already hyped for this 20-minute State of Play event. Hence, it becomes obvious to wonder what could be in store for those curious to learn everything about Hogwarts Legacy.

The trailer for the awaited open-world RPG has already amassed over 28 million views so far. That speaks volumes about how much craze there is among fans when it comes to this game.

Hogwarts Legacy is based in the 1800s where you will take on the role of a fresh student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

PlayStation, just days ago, announced that it would organize a big State of Play to showcase the gameplay captured on PS5. Out of the 20 minutes, 14 minutes will only focus on the first exclusive gameplay from Hogwarts Legacy.

This event will probably offer the demo version of the title. Following the end of the main content, the remaining six minutes of the State of Play may consist of Avalanche’s developers offering more information about the game itself. This means extra intel could be revealed on characters or in-game mechanics.

To be honest, 14 minutes is a good amount of time to enjoy unseen footage from the upcoming game. However, there’s no detail on the exact topics Avalanche will cover at the State of Play event.

This is being advertised as purely a Hogwarts Legacy-based event. So the fans need not worry about any other project taking time away from the gameplay reveal.

Most importantly, the developing team may eventually reveal the official release date as well.

The State of Play is taking place on March 17 at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET/10 PM CET. Viewers can catch it on either Twitch or YouTube.
