With E3 2021 right around the corner, gaming enthusiasts all around are eager to learn about the participation of the biggest video game conglomerates in it.

Last month, Square Enix was among the first few publishers to confirm its participation at the gaming industry’s largest annual event. Today, the company announced the schedule for its live conference at E3 2021 along with what to expect from it.

What you can expect to see from Square Enix at E3 2021

The Square Enix Presents Summer Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 13, as part of the digital E3 2021 event. One can certainly expect some unanticipated surprises from the showcase. Although, the publisher has officially revealed some games that will be featured.

The biggest of those revelations, perhaps, is the world premiere of an entirely new title from Canadian developer Eidos-Montreal. Building up the hype further, the publisher has promised an “exciting update” regarding Babylon’s Fall, which is under development at PlatinumGames.

Fans can also expect to learn new details about the Black Panther – War for Wakanda expansion for Marvel’s Avengers along with information surrounding upcoming in-game events.

Last but not least, Square Enix will present a “deep dive” into the upcoming game Life is Strange: True Colors while also providing a “first look” at Life is Strange: Remastered Collection.

In their announcement, Square Enix mentions that this is just a vague list of what will be on show as they are keeping the line-up under wraps for now. Fans will have to wait until the day of the presentation to see for themselves which other games will make an appearance.

However, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier believes the new project Eidos-Montreal is working on is a Guardians of the Galaxy video game. Apparently, it will be the big headline of Square Enix’s showcase at E3 2021.

When, where, and how to watch Square Enix’s summer showcase event?

Taking place on Sunday, June 13, Square Enix Presents will air at 12:15 PT / 20:15 BST / 21.15 CEST. It will be a part of the E3 2021 event as a keynote.

The livestream showcase will approximately span 40 minutes. Fans all around the globe can also tune into Square Enix’s official Twitch and YouTube channels to watch the online broadcast.

Meanwhile, E3 2021 will run from June 12 to June 15, 2021. After the event failed to take place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is making a sensational return this year. The major changes this time are the online-only and free-for-all attendees format.
