What you can expect to see from Square Enix at E3 2021

The Square Enix Presents Summer Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 13, as part of the digital E3 2021 event. One can certainly expect some unanticipated surprises from the showcase. Although, the publisher has officially revealed some games that will be featured.

The biggest of those revelations, perhaps, is the world premiere of an entirely new title from Canadian developer Eidos-Montreal. Building up the hype further, the publisher has promised an “exciting update” regarding Babylon’s Fall, which is under development at PlatinumGames.

Fans can also expect to learn new details about the Black Panther – War for Wakanda expansion for Marvel’s Avengers along with information surrounding upcoming in-game events.

Last but not least, Square Enix will present a “deep dive” into the upcoming game Life is Strange: True Colors while also providing a “first look” at Life is Strange: Remastered Collection.

In their announcement, Square Enix mentions that this is just a vague list of what will be on show as they are keeping the line-up under wraps for now. Fans will have to wait until the day of the presentation to see for themselves which other games will make an appearance.

However, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier believes the new project Eidos-Montreal is working on is a Guardians of the Galaxy video game. Apparently, it will be the big headline of Square Enix’s showcase at E3 2021.
