We get a new set of games on Xbox Game Pass on a monthly basis. Of course, a bunch of games leave that library too, but that does not happen as often as Microsoft introduces new games. And although there are some small indie and unremarkable games on that monthly list, they also have a couple of massive titles.

This month, too, Microsoft has revealed a number of exciting new titles for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. With the addition of those games, the Game Pass library is yet again one of the most robust collections of games. Hence, here we list five games that every Xbox Game Pass subscriber should play this October.

Gotham Knights

Yes, one of WB Games’ most anticipated games of 2022 is finally making its way to Xbox Game Pass. Following the success of Rocksteady Games’ critically acclaimed Batman Arkham trilogy was somewhat hard. But WB tried, and it tasked WB Montreal with developing a new single-player experience for fans of the Arkham series.

This is the result: a third-person action-adventure open-world superhero game with clunky combat and a predictable story. Yet, DC’s charm would make you want to keep playing it.

Forza Motorsport

Microsoft took its sweet time with this one. While we see a new Forza Horizon title every few years, it’s been a while since a new Motorsport title launched. Every Game Pass owner should play this game just so they can understand how hard the developers have worked on every minute detail of this game.

With painstakingly detailed cars and realistically designed tracks, playing this game would just be an experience.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy

Want to get your hands on a title that is nothing short of mind-blowing? Want to make your character scream “Objection!” at the very last moment during the case? Ace Attorney might just be the thing for you.

Play in this visual novel as a group of attorneys who set out to solve crimes and do their best to put culprits behind bars by checking clues, finding the right witnesses, and building a strong case.

Lies of P

There has been a flood of soul-likes recently; everywhere we see, there’s a developer working on a soul-like. The most recent one of those was Lies of P, and unlike most others, this one really captures the essence of what made those games so successful.

The developers of Lies of P have said a number of times how much they are influenced by Bloodborne, and it shows in this game too. So, if you have been waiting for a sequel to Bloodborne, do give this one a go.

Starfield

How can we leave behind the largest role-playing game of 2023? The latest open-world RPG from the makers of Skyrim In this game, players travel through space. They have also suggested that Starfield consists of around a thousand planets that can be landed on and explored. Massive game indeed, and totally worth giving a try at least once.
