Amouranth spills secrets of her struggles on the xQc podcast

A few days back, Amouranth was featured on the xQc podcast after losing a bet. Apparently, the streamer promised an interview with Felix if he lost the game of marbles on her stream, and it turned out in his favor.

The podcast was an hour and a half long, where xQc dived deep into her life, pushing her to talk about various things. But out of all, one bit caught everyone’s attention as it spoke about Amouranth’s life before Twitch. “I had a few different jobs. I worked at the Opera in Houston in the ballet doing costume design,” she said as she started talking about it.

Back in the day, Kaitlyn invested her time in stitching and bringing beautiful outfits to life, for which she received $40 an hour. But soon, she realized that it wasn’t going to do much in her journey, leading her to find more options. This pave the way for her to mix up her love for dressing up and turning it into an actual job. Amo then dressed up as Disney characters, working at make-a-wish foundations, birthday parties, and hospitals while being around children.

It was a good gig as it paid $200 an hour, which was a fair deal at that point. This went on for quite some time before she moved on to establishing her company and learning about Twitch. And now, seven years later, Amo can crown herself with the title of ‘queen,’ not just for Twitch but also as one of the biggest female streamers in the world!
