Made by Indie developers Puppet Combo, Christmas Massacre is making a lot of rounds on social media platforms but not for an ideal reason. Released on Steam in 2021, this horror slash game received an amazing response from the fans. That is when people were convinced that the Christmas Massacre might make an appearance on console devices as well. However, it seems like this dream won’t be a complete reality. While Christmas Massacre is confirmed for PlayStation, what about Xbox and Switch?

These days Indie developers are doing truly amazing work in the horror genre, especially with the help of Unreal Engine 5. Recently, one Indie developer’s survival horror game, Don’t Scream received many appreciations on its first look. However, it looks like console giants are yet to get convinced fully to bring these titles onto their platforms.

Recently one Reddit user shared that Puppt Combo can’t release Christmas Massacre to any other console devices apart from PlayStation. Confirming the news, this Reddit user commented that according to developers, “only PlayStation will allow it. ” This means apart from PlayStation, no other console companies were brave enough to welcome this crazily entertaining game to their platforms. Truly surprising, isn’t it?

When fans asked Puppet Combo about Xbox and Switch on Twitter, they replied saying- “No, it’s too crazy for Xbox.” Their answer was the same for Switch too. Now fans know that Puppet Combo offers unique grainy visuals, which often let them get away with gruesome actions. However, PlayStation came as one of the enthusiastic platforms, where players can now explore Christmas Massacre.

Exploring the universe of Puppet Combo’s Christmas Massacre

Mentioned as a slasher horror game, Puppet Combo’s Christmas Massacre turns the celebratory feel of Christmas into a nightmare. Released on Steam, Christmas Massacre offers players four essential characters. They are a mute serial killer named Larry, Gino, a Christmas tree who tells Larry to murder all the naughty people, the Nun/ antagonist of the game, and Larry’s mother. However, players will encounter unnamed people who are Larry’s targets and an officer, who ultimately arrests Larry.

Christmas Massacre offers a timeline for Larry from starting his murderous attempt in a catholic school in 1959, where a nun prohibited him from joining a Christmas Party. At last, players will find Larry in a mental hospital in 1895, where he murders everybody again including a nun, and goes free. Puppet Combo’s Christmas Massacre will be available for PlayStation users on the 17th of November. Will you try this game?
