Later, there was a cinematic clip released by the official Call of Duty account on Twitter. The video showed Station Chief Kate Laswell informing about an incident that almost affected the Vondel city. “72 hours ago, there were reports of a possible chemical attack in the city of Vondel.” What’s important to note is that she also revealed the identity of a person who succeeded in preventing this attack.

“A resident philanthropist believed to be Milena Romanova. A Russian real estate magnate tasked a private security force to protect the city and prevented attack,” she told in the clip above. Now if one has to assume, there might be a connection between the Operator of IO and Milena. Probably that’s why the information about this Battle Pass character has been (REDACTED). There’s a possibility for this result because the video, above, also showcased some of the action sequences featuring IO. After watching them thoroughly, it becomes clear that IO is, in fact, a female. Which means she could be none other than Milena herself!
Then there’s the other theory of Milena being related to the future of CoD Modern Warfare sub-series. She might be a direct link between the present entry and the rumored Modern Warfare III title of 2023. She’s said to have hired a private security company in Vondel. That’s where things become even more interesting. It’s because the Shadow Company, from MWII’s Campaign, also operates in a similar manner now; it is also a private military company. Hence, Milena’s relation to the storyline of Modern Warfare II could be more than what meets the eye at the moment.
