How did Xbox troll fans amidst the Met Gala 2023?

While filmmakers, actors, actresses, and other celebrities, flaunted their outfits on the red carpet, Xbox decided to set up a prank. They hopped on to the trend, uploading a fresh post on their Twitter. In that, they featured one of the most iconic characters Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village, Capcom’s 2021 survival game.

The post featured the character in her original white gown outfit whilst being a tall, full-figured vampire-like aristocratic woman. And to jock your memory, she plays the antagonist in Evil Village, someone Ethan Winters meets during his journey to find his daughter. So, fans were elated to see this fun prank by Xbox as they shared their opinions in the comments section. “Who needs Chanel when you have Dimitrescu,” and “Bro she gonna cut off some arms, you better bring the green juice else people gonna leave without an arm,” some of them said. Here’s what the others had to say.

The 2021 Met Gala mystery

Back in 2021, avid artist BossLogic dropped one of the finest designs. He featured Lady Dimitrescu in a brown outfit. Interestingly, BossLogic had his inspiration from the big-time singer and actor Jenifer Lopez. The ‘On The Floor’ singer had styled a brown, long Ralph Lauren dress that gave major Resident Evil Village vibes. And looking at it, the artist could simply transition her onto a paper while adding some colors from his palette – turning it into a masterpiece.
