Nintendo Switch game launches for PC
In recent news, Triangle Strategy, a game developed by Square Enix, was making headlines because it was launched for Steam in just under 7 months. But the question arises, why is it so important for anyone to pay attention to this small development?

The answer is the change of work ethics and ideologies at Nintendo. The Japanese console giant has a tradition or more like a ritual, where they don’t allow 3rd party software to release a Nintendo-only game to migrate to other consoles for the first few years unless the game is launching on them the same day as Nintendo Consoles.

Why is this migration important?
If speculations are right, this means that in the future Nintendo and Steam might come into a mutual business term allowing each other to launch games from 3rd party developers. Although, it is already a thing to happens once in a while if the frequency of such releases increases they might make the industry boom.

And even if all this is just a false hope, one thing does make it hyped, the sheer thought of Nintendo games coming to other platforms. As fans of other consoles get to play Nintendo games, so will Nintendo stans will get to play other IPs. If this happens, it will change the entire outlook of fans for the industry.
