The ultimate success does account for some celebration, especially when we move closer to the tenth-year anniversary of its release. Just hours before the auspicious occasion, Rockstar Games posted a gratitude message to the fans. However, the message seemed to carry a lot of subtexts for the fans.

As Grand Theft Auto V turns 10 this coming Sunday, we would like to thank you, our players, for your incredible support over the years. This amazing community is the reason GTAV has thrived across multiple console generations and given us the opportunity to grow and update GTA Online with new features and content over these past 10 years, and your support is truly humbling. A massive thank you to anyone who has ever played, streamed, roleplayed, created, or shared from the world of Los Santos and Blaine County!” Rockstar Games stated in their message.

Along with the greeting, the developers offered a lot of rewards and collectibles as a celebratory symbol for the anniversary. But, the post ignited numerous theories around the future of GTA V online with GTA 6 allegedly being months away from a release.

Fans put on detective capes as they look for answers

Most of the gamers, upon going through the message, felt like the makers were planning on a goodbye for the online mod of the 2013 release.
