Why is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delayed again?

As is already known, the game will feature four playable characters: Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. They are the members of Task Force X and, contrary to their nature, they will be the good guys this time, for a crucial mission.

Since Justice League superheroes are under the influence of a menace, Suicide Squad members have to stop them from destroying the planet. All things considered, it’s an appealing storyline for a DC game. Also, it’s quite unusual than the regular plots of superheroes always coming to the rescue.

However, the creative director Sefton Hill recently announced an unexpected delay for Kill the Justice League. Instead of 2022, it will now arrive in Spring 2023. Basically, fans will have to wait for its debut in the period between March and June next year.

The director acknowledged that it’s quite frustrating to share such a bad news. But now that it has been revealed, all the curious fans of Suicide Squad must be wondering about the major reason for yet another delay.

Well, Sefton has already provided one key reason. It’s because the team wants to come out with the best-looking game. They need more time to invest in it properly and finish it as per the standards they have set for themselves.

Another reason could be due to the pandemic itself. It’s not hidden from anyone that the ongoing situation has resulted in the delay of multiple projects, and video games are no exception to this.

Maybe the developing team is not able to work as smoothly as possible right now. Hence, the overall making of the project is requiring them to put in extra hard work.
