Pokimane is one of the most prominent names in the streaming community, and fans absolutely adore her. One of the most common occupational hazards of streaming, however, is bans. Every streamer gets banned from time to time, for anything from background music to streaming a show.
Recently, Pokimane got herself banned by streaming one of the most popular anime shows in the world. The show is none other than the iconic 2005 release Avatar the Last Airbender. In fact, recently, the streamer herself confirmed the duration of the ban, which is 48hours of suspension.

So, this means fans won’t be able to watch their favorite Moroccan-Canadian-based streamer for a little while. Despite this conformation, the fans still have one question and that’s what’s the exact reason behind this ban?
As of now, the streamer and the popular streaming service Twitch have released no official statement on this. But it’s likely that the reason behind this ban is a DMCA strike.
Twitch DMCA policies and other Pokimane like cases
Also, in the stream, the streamer had an approximate viewer base of 25,000, which is a significant number. For the fans who are unfamiliar with the fact, the popular streaming service Twitch uses a three-strike for their DMCA policies.
So it was certain that the ban was not permanent, and the account will come back to normal. And that’s exactly what happened. As of now, it’s quite uncertain whether Twitch will release any official statement on this.

There is no other option than to wait for the officials to release some updates. When it comes to Twitch bans, it’s not something new for the entire streaming community. In the past, Twitch has banned some prominent streamers with no clarifications.
For example, streamers like xQc, DrDisrespect, ZilianOP, Phantoml0rd, and many more. And not to forget these were all biggest streamers of that platform with millions of followers on Twitch and social media as well.
