This year has been exciting for the action role-playing fans with the release of the much-awaited Hogwarts Legacy. But another new title has joined the list, which is none other than Wild Hearts. It is an action role-playing game developed by Omega Force, released under the banners of Electronic Arts on February 17.

This newly-released game is set in a fantasy world called Azuma, which is full of gigantic beasts. The players are on a journey to hunt these gigantic beasts roaming across Azuma. Although it is not an open-world setting, players have access to vast areas to explore.

Goldshard has an Earth attribute and has resistivity for Fire and Earth attributes. Talking about resistivity, it also has ailment resistance for Ablaze. As for Goldshard’s weakness, this projectile shooting porcupine is weak against Wood and Wind attributes. The players should target Goldshard’s Head, which is its weak spot.

This massive porcupine is found at the Silverglass Plains and Winter Solstice Cavern in Akikure Canyon. The physical attacks which are effective against a Goldshard Kemono are Pummel and Lunge weapons.

  • Spine Volley: The huge porcupine shoots large gold spikes from its back.
  • Spinning Hop: It hops forward and rotates, releasing a swarm of spines behind it.
  • Swipe and Slam: The Kemono slams with its paws twice, then slams its body down and shoot spines.
  • Tail Slam: The Goldshard raises its tail and smacks it down, knocking down players who are nearby.

How to take on a Goldshard?

Goldshard’s body is covered in solid shards, making it resist most attacks on its body. So the player should target its head, using Pummel and Lunge weapons. Players can also attack the tail, but they should be extremely careful. Further, when a Goldshard is about to turn, meaning it will shoot a volley of shards. So fans should be ready to dodge some projectiles.

Players should have some defensive Karakuris on them, and the best one to use would be a Shield Wall Karakuri. This one takes less damage than the Bulwark Karakuri and also takes less time to bring it out. Moreover, players should also have Spring Karakuri on them, helping them dodge attacks like Goldshard Charge and Laying Spine Thrust.
