Previous speculations had led to fans expecting a 15 July announcement/release of the second wave. However, that didn’t turn out to be true. On the other hand, a leaker claimed on July 14 that Nintendo will announce the much-anticipated wave on July 20 at 15:00 BST (7:00 PT).

Considering this as true, Mario Kart fans will soon get to experience 8 new DLC tracks for the game. The last wave costed players $24.99, and so, the upcoming one is expected to cost the same. Moreover, fans with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription can grab the wave at no additional cost!

All things considered, it is still a speculation, and fans may want to take it with a grain of salt to avoid disappointment. After all, Nintendo has adopted a pretty unpredictable pattern this year. However, it’s been a long time since the release of the first wave, and fans deserve the next by now.
