Well, going by the strong rumors so far, this year will also see the arrival of a brand new Call of Duty premium offering from Activision. Interestingly, the publisher is also a part of the awaited event next month.

Well, that’s going to make the situation quite intriguing. As of now, the rumored Call of Duty 2023 is expected to be called Modern Warfare III, being a continuation of the ongoing title. Undoubtedly, it will soon receive a proper announcement as well. And Summer Game Fest could definitely turn out to be a great platform for this purpose. But will that be the case?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III showcase at Summer Game Fest?

So far, the leaks coming from trusted sources, such as industry insider Tom Henderson, indicate that the initial reveal will happen in August. To be precise, he has mentioned that Modern Warfare III will be teased possibly within Warzone 2, via some kind of event, beginning on August 1.

It means that there are hardly any chances for Call of Duty 2023 to show up at the Summer Game Fest in June. Yes, Activision will be at the event but it’s not yet confirmed which games it will present there.
