Shipping more than 150 million copies worldwide, this game made $800 million just on its debut day in the market. Surely, GTA V’s success brought the crown back to Rockstar Games.

Now, this blockbuster is back on Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox team added GTA V recently for both cloud and console users. It will be available on Xbox One with Series X/S.
Following the on-and-off presence of the Game Pass, it is hard to tell how long subscribers can avail of their favorite game on Xbox Game Pass. However, following last time’s mind-blowing revenue of $210 million from $179 million, Rockstar might consider positioning GTA V on Game Pass for a longer period.

Editor and game critic Derek Strickland took to Twitter to state how Microsoft’s Game Pass helps many developers to raise astounding amounts of revenue. Recalling the name of Take-Two Interactive Software, he mentioned how Game Pass helped companies to get more player engagement, better sales revenue, and more users. GTA V’s speculated comeback on Xbox Game Pass might bring more luck to Rockstar Games.
The last time GTA V was on Game Pass, GTA franchise revenues went from $179 million to $210 million on a quarterly basis.
Microsoft has also proven that the Game Pass Effect is real–users will buy games when a title rotates out.
