There is no denying Apple iPhone is the go-to choice of many smartphone users. With a new smartphone coming out almost every year, mobile gaming fans are constantly on the lookout for any news. And they have set eyes on the upcoming iPhone 15, as it is rumored to have the thinnest bezels ever.

However, the price to get their hands on this feature-rich smartphone will be quite high. This has made many mobile gamers start to weigh out the pros and cons of buying the upcoming iPhone 15.

Reports point out that the iPhone 15 is much more expensive than the iPhone 14

Apple is currently gearing up for an event to showcase iPhone 15. However, mobile gamers have started to worry following reports claiming the upcoming iPhone to be an expensive one. Furthermore, the pro version of the upcoming iPhone could be significantly more expensive than its predecessor.

In an article by Digitimes, it is claimed, “The pricing of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will not see much of a change from the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. But the Pro series is likely to suffer from a major price hike because of the chassis upgrades from stainless steel to titanium and the periscope lens upgrade, which is only for the Pro Max, for performing 5-6x optical zoom.”

Multiple reasons are causing this price spike. The economic blowback, coupled with fluctuations in USD and inflation can be the primary cause of the increased price. While it is hard to pinpoint the cause, the device however is offering some major upgrades for the increased price.

However, this price hike has put many mobile gamers in a conundrum. While the phone is promising a variety of features for gaming, the price hike might cause gamers to steer clear of the device. With the Android market getting stronger in the US, Apple will surely be looking to offer more features to entice mobile gamers.

This rivalry between the two will in the end prove beneficial for mobile gamers. For now, however, they would have to sit tight and look at the price of the iPhone 15 expected to be revealed at the Apple event.
