YouTube icon MrBeast has set foot on Meta’s new social media platform, Threads. Within two days of joining the platform, the content creator has amassed a substantial following. Notably, the 25-year-old left Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, behind in the race to reach a million followers on Threads. Beast has taken to the new platform fairly quickly and many are wondering whether this means that now he will be less active on Twitter.

Earlier, MrBeast had self-proclaimed himself to be the Super Official CEO of Twitter. The YouTuber is now pitching himself to be the future Threads CEO and is bringing forth a special giveaway on this new Meta app.

MrBeast announces a giveaway on the Threads app

Recently, MrBeast posted a thread that announced a giveaway in 48 hours for one lucky follower. Funnily, the item he chose to giveaway was a Tesla car. The YouTuber shared a message stating, “To celebrate Threads launching, I’m gonna give this Tesla to a random follower in 48 hours! Rethread so people are aware”.

Fans have also shown their interest in this giveaway, as the thread is nearing almost 350K likes within 12 hours of posting. He also shared the image of the Tesla to be given away, with the Threads logo on top of it.

Whether MrBeast has done this knowingly or not, is yet to be known. However, this move from the YouTuber has once again sparked the debate of Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg among the fans. One fan even replied to MrBeast, “Can I have a Lambo instead? Teslas are too Elon for me.”
