Crossover updates that could happen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Pokémon
Other than Animal Crossing, Pokémon is also a widely popular Nintendo Switch title. Several fans like to purchase the new Pokémon titles and enjoy their journey to becoming a Pokémon Master. Naturally, fans of both franchises want to see a crossover in New Horizons, especially after Nintendo released the Super Mario crossover.

Interestingly, fans saw a crossover between Pokémon and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp back in 2018. Not to mention, every user enjoyed the crossover event where they could get their hands on Pokémon theme items. Since then, many fans have been wondering if they will ever see another crossover between the franchise in ACNH.
Unfortunately, the chance of getting a crossover is very unlikely, especially given that the franchise has never featured in a mainline game.

7-Eleven crossover with Animal Crossing: New Horizons
One of the most memorable crossovers in the history of the Animal Crossing series was with 7-Eleven. Nintendo also introduced a crossover villager with 7-Eleven called Filly. Filly first appeared in Happy Home Designer and returned in New Leaf, but was exclusive to Japanese players.

Since this furniture set never made its way outside of Japan, it became one of the most desirable sets in any Animal Crossing title.
