A Reddit user believes that breaking the law in this Bethesda game will land you in prison. A space prison! Sharing his theory he wrote, “Todd Howard never tells us what happens when system authorities find us with contraband or catches us doing something illegal. I think you end up getting sent to prison and will need to serve a sentence or break out your thoughts?”
This fan might be on to something. Starfield might be the first Sci-Fi RPG title to ever have a space prison. The fan theory immediately went viral on the platform. Fans were divided and left intrigued by the user’s speculation.
A fan supporting the theory wrote, “The Direct showed what looked to be the player character in a prison in one of the clips, and also Skyrim had a similar system, so it really wouldn’t surprise me if this was a feature in the game. Guess we shall have to wait and see.”
