The majority of the Starfield fans didn’t believe in God’s character in the game. They received the initial plot like any other fiction- “Way too existential. It’s a fun sci-fi story with a hint of life beyond the veil. Throwing “god” into the mix is incredibly unnecessary and just dumb In my opinion.”
