In case you missed it, WWE 2K22 will be the 26th entry in the WWE video game series, and the ninth under the WWE 2K branding.

WWE 2K22 to have the attractive Thunderdome feature!
In its video, the Smacktalks channel unleashed a very huge detail for anyone who’s interested in the next major title in the wrestling-based saga. Mentioning the various additions coming to WWE 2K22, the Smacktalks also revealed that it will have the industry-defining Thunderdome feature.

For those who are wary of the expected feature, WWE unveiled Thunderdome in 2020 for fans to connect to the fights virtually. It involves a large screen that shows people watching a fight in real-time, just like in the physical arena. WWE did this to compensate for the lack of crowd as the pandemic began early in 2020.
So bringing the Thunderdome made a lot of sense. Plus, the facility itself has now become very popular among fans across the globe. Because it allows anyone to join from anywhere in the world.

Simply put, WWE 2K22 will have virtual crowd boards/ large screens this time. And technically, it can be termed as the Thunderdome feature. However, we don’t know yet how it will be implemented in the gameplay itself.
