Narrative director Sarah Beaulieu responded to questions about the game after the gameplay showcase. During these questions, she revealed the availability of legacy outfits in Assassin’s Creed Mirage!

Apart from their legendary skills, the character’s outfit makes a player feel like they are playing the game. The robes Assassins wear in the game became iconic throughout the franchise’s history. Each protagonist has their own set of unique robes. However, when these outfits can be accessed in a different game from the franchise, it feels even more special for gamers!

As a result, fans of the franchise were curious about the inclusion of legacy outfits in Mirage. During her interview, Beaulieu put the questions to rest, confirming the outfits can be accessible! When asked about seeing Basim in iconic robes such as Altair’s, Beaulieu answered “Yes!” much to the joy of fans!

These outfits serve as a pleasant reminder of why fans fell in love with the franchise in the first place. Each of these outfits represents a unique aspect of each game. Altair’s outfit started it all, Ezio’s took us through three games of the fascinating storyline. Following them were Connor and Edward, members of the Kenway line. Each of them brought newer aspects to the game. It will be interesting to see these outfits in modern visuals and vibrant colors of Mirage.

Moreover, these outfits usually come up with a stat boost, such as extra throwable, or lesser chance of a guard noticing you. Donning these outfits could bring varied gameplay, especially since Mirage will feature the Black Box system of assassinations. Players can choose a legacy outfit to suit their playstyle, or simply for the sake of nostalgia.
