MrBeast is undoubtedly the most prominent content creator on YouTube right now. He has constantly proven his knack for content creation by winning the Creator of the Year title at Streamy Awards. The 25-year-old is also on track to become the most subscribed channel on YouTube.

Amidst this staggering success on YouTube, Elon Musk tried to offer MrBeast to come over to Twitter (rebranding to X). Looks like Musk’s efforts to woo the YouTuber are working as the YouTuber dropped a cryptic tweet showing his interest. This has sparked a debate on whether MrBeast will attain the same level of success on X as he did on YouTube.

MrBeast shows interest in joining X as an uploading platform

Recently, Elon Musk sang a praise song for X becoming a haven for content creators. He urged more creators to join the platform giving the example of Tucker Carlson. Musk shared that Tucker Carlson’s show received a single-digit million viewers while on TV.

After switching over to X, however, the show is amassing views surpassing the population of the United States. Looks like this claim from Musk has intrigued the YouTube king who showed his interest by dropping an eyes emoji.

This reaction from MrBeast was well-received by fans, with many urging him to upload content on X too. But the YouTuber is yet to officially announce anything. However, the netizens have started to discuss whether or not the 25-year-old will upload on X.

Will MrBeast’s switch to X be a beneficial move?

Looking at the overall consensus of the netizens, they want MrBeast to start uploading on X. But there will certainly be some roadblocks to his uploading. And the biggest one will be low monetization.

The YouTuber is making videos on a budget of millions, and it is highly unlikely uploading just on X will cover the costs. Furthermore, reuploading the same content from YouTube to X will not attract fans.

However, if he decides to start uploading on X, he will be getting higher engagement rates. MrBeast can also diversify his content by continuing his successful streak on YouTube and starting a new content vertical on X.

With many pros and cons to switching to X, it will be a tough decision for MrBeast and his team to make. Only time will tell whether or not the YouTuber will join X.
