Recently, Fortnite announced its massive collaboration with Kai Cenat for an exclusive event. They partnered with the Twitch streamer to host a $200,000 tourney featuring top players from the industry. Big names like Tfue, Courage, Sommerset, Myth, and more were all geared up for their big night. The winner of the tournament would take home $80,000, followed by $50,000, $25,000, and so on. But as we all know, every tourney has its favorites. Fans were rooting for Tfue and his duo.

After Kai’s announcement, Tfue uploaded a Twitter post confirming his duo. He was all set to feature the football star, promising to win the competition for all. And it was very evident that fans were happy to see the two worlds collide.

Fortnite has always enthralled fans by introducing new collaborations from time to time. They have always looked out for crisp business opportunities, featuring them in the game with a skin, emote, or more. And recently, it felt like they had eyes on Twitch as the franchise announced its massive partnership with Kai Cenat.

2022 was a fantastic year for the Twitch streamer as he bagged multiple awards for his work. Apart from that, he became the fastest to cross 100,000 followers, making a mark on the platform. This paved way for various brand dealerships, out of which Fortnite stood out. Kai partnered with them for a one-time competition for $200,000.

There, players like Tfue announced their entry as he uploaded a dedicated post featuring his duo. The Fortnite pro linked up with Ty Hill for this event, all set to grab the shiny cash prize. Tfue’s post instantly became a hub for thousands of fans as they were happy to see the partnership go through. Plus, they added comments like “Winning duo right here,” showing faith in this dream duo. Here’s what the others had to say.

However, their wish stayed a dream as the favorite duo finished fourth with 48 points. They could only bag $20,000, lagging behind Chica and Andre Drummond with three points. Nevertheless, it was great to see fans still supporting the streamer even after he shifted focus to other games like Warzone.
