Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has generated significant attention following the recent rumor. And with Modern Warface III set to release on 10 November 2023, anticipation builds as more information for the upcoming titles in 2024, and 2025 starts to surface. 

The insider states that CoD 2025 could feature all the maps from Call of Duty Black Ops 2 multiplayer.  Although just rumors, this leak has sparked a fire in players’ hearts and fans are now looking forward to the upcoming Call of Duty 2025.

The recent rumor comes from a trusted Call of Duty leaker who goes by the name “bob.” on Twitter. The insider is known for their CoD Modern Warfare 3 leaks and has been mostly accurate with his data. In the post on Twitter, the leaker stated that although things might change in the next 2 years, CoD 2025 will be like MW3. He then states that Treyarch’s 2024 title, will feature BO2 multiplayer map remasters. 

It’s important to note that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, which is coming out this year, will be the first game in the series to have a direct sequel right after the last one. Modern Warfare 2 was the last game that Treyarch released on 28 October 2022. One thing about Modern Warfare 3 that stands out is that it has 16 remastered multiplayer maps from the 2009 game, Modern Warfare 2. This gives players a reason to believe that Treyarch plans on doing the same with the 2024 title.

Another trusted insider of Call of Duty information also retweeted bob.’s post, giving fans a reason to believe the rumor is possibly true.

Players are excited considering the rumor states the remasters of some of the most iconic maps of the series will be returning in the new game. This news has fans pumped for the future releases of the Call of Duty games.

While everything is speculation, there are if there are remastered maps in the upcoming title, players will get to experience each map in a new light. Players expect the return of nostalgic multiplayer maps like Nuketown, Overflow, Standoff, and Raid. The remastered maps will feature newer technology such as ray tracing and better spatial sound experience for a more immersive PvP.
