Now another challenger trying to chip away Twitch’s armor is Rumble. This streaming platform has been here since 2013 but began gaining popularity in 2020. This was due to one factor: creative freedom. Rumble is by far the most creator-friendly app. From giving their creators full control over their videos to avoiding unnecessary censors, it has proven to be built for the creators. First started emerging as YouTube’s competition, recently, Rumble has taken Twitch head-on with a tweet.

Rumble goes head-to-head with Twitch

Recently, Rumble put out a rather bold statement. They tweeted, “If they don’t see the writing on the wall already, Twitch/Amazon is going to really start sweating after tonight.” This tweet looks like the attempt of the little player to take on a giant.

While the wording of the tweet is ambiguous, fans have started speculating about what it could be. Many are wondering what edge Rumble has over Twitch that they are actively trying to challenge them. And many pointed in the direction of big names moving from Twitch to Rumble, something that has been happening in Twitch vs Kick too.

Since Rumble acquired the rights to broadcast Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed in their new show called The Kai ‘N Speed Show, it has been going smoothly for the platform. Not only did this show help bring in more subscribers, but it also skyrocketed the platform over other social media apps in Apple Top Charts. And looks like the platform has decided to double down on acquiring big names from Twitch, the latest one being the OTK founder.
