This may look like a standard requirement at first, but fans have connected the dots and are speculating MachineGames is working on a new Wolfenstein title. The hiring could not be connected to the current game MachineGames is working on. Indiana Jones is more suitable to be a third-person game due to its explorative and puzzle-based nature. Furthermore, the only FPS title MachineGames has majorly worked on is Wolfenstein.

This theory also matches up with a preferred skill mentioned in the listing, i.e., “Strong familiarity with MachineGames’ titles”. Over the last decade, the studio has been mostly limited to working on the World War II-based FPS franchise.
Although all this information regarding a new Wolfenstein title should be taken with a grain of salt. There is no official confirmation from the developers of the series that they are working on a new title. But looking at the fans’ interest in a new Wolfenstein title, it is highly likely the studio will give it the green light. Till then fans can sit tight and hope for the return of the American Army captain in his quest against Axis powers.
