Grand Theft Auto 5 voice actors reveal why actors don’t spoil GTA 6

While sitting down with The Squadcast YouTube channel, voice actors for Michael and Franklin talked about Grand Theft Auto. When asked about any information or leak about the upcoming GTA 6 title, Michael’s voice actor had a hilarious reply. He said, “Even if we could we’d have to kill your f**king asses afterward so it doesn’t matter.”

They were further asked about their experience with GTA 5. The voice actors shared how they had to sign an NDA with Rockstar Games as they were strict on this part. Michael’s voice actor said, “You couldn’t say anything, even to your family. I mean you couldn’t let anybody know anything.”

He then further went on to share the story of his getting cast as Michael. When the trailer for GTA 5 came out, Micheal’s voice actor was still doing some scenes for the game. However, a friend of his saw the trailer and outed him for being a character in the Rockstar Games series. But this reveal from his friend nearly cost him his role.

He shared that his phone was full of messages and calls when the news went out to the public. However, the first thought on Micheal’s voice actor’s mind was he was going to get fired. “I thought I was gonna get fired,” he said, “It was crazy. The NDA thing is legit.”

With this reveal from the GTA 5 voice actor, fans might get an idea why the GTA 6 voice actors are skeptical to reveal anything. Additionally, they would not want to reveal anything and destroy the fun of the most expensive game being made.
