Jon Rahm’s role to be huge as he teams up with Call of Duty centric organization
As is already known, Jon Rahm is a renowned name in the world of golf. He has been the number one player in World Amateur Golf Ranking for a record 60 weeks. Later, the Massachusetts-based star also clinched the top spot in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Apart from his love for golf, Jon is a notable Call of Duty gamer also. He’s the latest sportsperson to join Oxygen, as an investor, after the Kraft Family, basketball player Danny Ainge, Rob Gronkowski, and also Banner Ventures.

“Looking back on our conversations with Jon and his team, Jon’s involvement with Oxygen makes a lot of sense. Jon is public about his love for Call of Duty and the CDL,” said Murphy Vandervelde. The latter is the executive chairman of the esports organization.

Vandervelde also mentioned that Rahm has a very impactful business acumen along with an unmatched spirit of winning. Plus he also has a “deep level of respect and connection with our existing investor base makes it a strong partnership on all fronts.”

Along with this partnership with the golfer, Oxygen is really looking forward to further expansion. As per the news based on the report, part of the newest investment will be spent on housing a large roster of its esports teams in Boston.

Earlier in 2022, Oxygen announced that it would make Boston Breach as the 12th team to compete in the Call of Duty League.
