PRIME drops unsuspecting new ad during Playoffs

The MLB Playoffs are on and the entire nation is excited to see who makes it to the next round. With the ongoing Playoffs, viewers are glued to the TV screen. For streamers who make a living by reaching out to their fans with their content, what better time to promote your brand? During the MLB Playoffs, Logan Paul and KSI’s PRIME drinks brand caught the viewers off guard with a new ad.

The ad shows a man (a bearded and exhausted Logan Paul) stranded on a deserted island somewhere in the middle of the ocean. The man is running short on drinking water, despite being surrounded by the sea. All of a sudden, the man notices a brightly colored PRIME bottle floating on the water and makes his move with high hopes of finally having something to drink. He jumps up and grabs the bottle with hopeful eyes, only to be flummoxed by what comes next.

As the man takes off the lid and tries to pour the entire contents of the bottle down his throat, a mushy piece of paper catches him by surprise. He unfolds the paper and sees the message DRINK PRIME written on the piece of parchment. Understandably, the man is frustrated to no extent and lets out a screeching yell before falling down on the sand once more. With the ad suggesting that fans should resort to drinking PRIME when they feel stranded, some fans believe such marketing tactics might end up belly up.

KSI isn’t having the best time right now

After his bitter loss to pro boxer Tommy Fury, KSI believes he will take a break from the ring and try his hands at content creation. While Fury’s fans were pretty sure about the final result of the bout, KSI’s fans were rooting for an upset. However, his mates in the British group Sidemen are there to help him through the tough times.

During the recent 10-year celebration of the Sidemen channel, the group members took it upon themselves to cheer up KSI. The Sidemen believe they are the only ones who can keep KSI grounded right now. Although the YouTuber didn’t look particularly thrilled about the arrangements, we would hope the efforts didn’t go to waste! Now, with his shited focus on content creation, we hope he spends more time with PRIME in the coming days. What did you think of the PRIME ad? Tell us in the comments below.
