Xbox’s recent policy exempts Xbox’s Adaptive Controllers from the ban

Recently Xbox users flooded the internet asking about an unknown error “0x82d60002”, which was more like an update message. While this message scared users saying after November using third-party accessories would block their devices, Xbox soon revealed its new policy. In this policy, they applied the ban from the 12th of November.

However, there is a small catch! Microsoft’s recent announcement revealed that Xbox Adaptive Controller users will not face this error- “There is no impact to players using the Xbox Adaptive Controller and any peripherals plugged into the Xbox Adaptive Controller’s USB and 3.5MM ports. This includes both licensed Designed for Xbox devices listed on the Accessories Hub Page, as well as those that currently connect with the Xbox Adaptive Controller.”
