Sea of Thieves, on 19th October 2021, achieved a remarkable milestone when it touched the mighty 25 million players milestone. The game launched back in 2018 and has seen a consistent growth in terms of its playerbase since. Back in 2018, Nobody knew the game would get so big, but it’s the love and support of players who made it all possible.
Just 7 months back, the game hit the 20 million players mark, and the devs also thanked the players for all the constant support. And what the game has achieved this time is an even bigger achievement. Here’s a tweet from the devs thanking the Fans on the occasion of this achievement:-

Sea of Thieves devs has a surprise for the fans
The devs know very well that a welcome tweet is not enough for the fans so they came up with the perfect gesture. Joe Neate, the Executive Producer at Rare, had this to say. “As an extra celebration, anyone who plays Sea of Thieves between October 19th (3pm BST) and October 26th (3pm BST) will receive a special login bonus of 25,000 gold and 25 Doubloons. On top of that, one randomly picked pirate who hands in treasure during this period will earn a payout of 25 million in gold!”
This is a wonderful opportunity for all the new fans who are waiting to explore this game, and they must make use of this special opportunity; eventually, this also opens up a chance of earning an enormous 25 million gold.

The Executive Producer also shared that it was the charm of Disney’s Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover that attracted a lot of fresh players to the Game. It thrilled fans to experience Pirates of the Caribbean characters in the game, making A Pirate’s Life, one of the most successful expansions the game has ever had.
The game is available for purchase for PC, Xbox Series X&S, Steam, and Xbox One. Unfortunately, the game is not available for PlayStation.
The latest season 4 content update is now available for free for Xbox Game Pass holders for Xbox Consoles, PC, and Steam. And the new seasonal update will introduce tons of new treasures, secrets, seasonal rewards, and new events.
