With these kind words, Phil Spencer has shown his interest in the Fable series as he has been closely involved in developing the first Fable title.

Other Xbox subsidiaries also receive praise from the CEO

The question about Playground Games’ Fable came up when Spencer was praising the collaborative project of Playground Games and Turn 10, Forza. Forza currently has two ongoing series Motorsport, developed by Turn 10, and Horizon, developed by Playground Games.

According to Phil Spencer, the two studios, especially Playground Games, have consistently kept the quality of their work high, leading to Forza Horizon becoming a top-tier Xbox franchise. Furthermore, he also praised Turn 10, stating, “It’s just been awesome to see how Turn 10, a studio that was literally just homegrown within Xbox, has turned into such a force for us.”

With two titles from each of these studios in the works, getting praise from the Xbox CEO will be valuable. The release date of the Fable reboot is yet to be announced. However, Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport will arrive on October 10 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. And the Xbox CEO, along with many fans, is looking forward to their release.
