Xbox Game Pass Library to Expand Massively With Activision Blizzard, and King Titles, as Per Phil Spencer

Microsoft finally completed the deal with Activision Blizzard for $68.7  billion. And Xbox boss Phil Spencer extended a warm welcome to this talented studio through an internal memo exclusive to Microsoft’s employees. However, what brings the fans’ attention to Phil Spencer’s announcement is his plans for expanding the Xbox Game Pass.

Activision’s inclusion will definitely bring some mouth-watering additions to Xbox’s gaming ecosystem. Further, the addition of King, known for developing Candy crush, will surely take Xbox Game Pass to a whole new level.

Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition was destined to bring some unthinkable collaborations on the platform of Xbox. And now that Spencer aims to expand their objectives with talents and resources from the gaming giants, Xbox will definitely try to take their Game Pass to new levels. Further, with Activision’s blockbuster titles Overwatch, and Call of Duty joining, fans will get access to a treasure trove of games.

In fact, Spencer’s enthusiasm for collaborating with Activision only brought positive vibes for Xbox fans in the future. Having finalized the deal, Spencer said, We couldn’t be more excited that Activision Blizzard employees are our colleagues, co-workers, and teammates.” Spencer also talked about the impact of joining forces with Activision Blizzard. He said,

Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition deal was far from smooth. And there were plenty of roadblocks. Yet, it was probably one of the biggest deals ever made by Xbox. However, Activision’s $68.7 deal is worth it for Xbox as it is bringing its hugely popular subsidiary studios to work with the company.
