It is extremely simple to join the insider program. Just head over to the store and then search the insider app. Once you find the insider app, just download it and select the join option and that’s literally it. You are now an Xbox Insider. The first tier will be Omega and then you have to complete some tasks (mandatory) to move up to the Delta tier. After approximately three months of Delta tier, you will be able to move up to the Beta tier finally.

The movement between tiers and the upgrade will not be automatic. So whenever you are eligible to move up, open the previous tab and just find the update preview option.
