Microsoft seems to be having a great year so far, as the popularity of the Xbox consoles is constantly going through the roof. And now it’s been revealed that the current generation of the gaming devices is truly the best one so far.

In case anyone missed it, Microsoft just had its FY22 Q4 earnings call, in which CEO Satya Nadella mentioned some really amazing achievements of the Xbox Series X|S.

Xbox Series X|S are Microsoft’s fastest-selling consoles of all time!

The latest generation of the Xbox consoles was released nearly two years ago. It possesses high-end hardware and can support a resolution of up to 8K while gaming. Higher frame rates and real-time ray tracing options are also available in the current series.

High-speed SSDs are used in both Xbox Series X and S to reduce loading times. While the Series S has the same CPU as that of the flagship model, it uses a slightly less powerful GPU, memory, and internal storage. But both of these consoles have become the best-selling devices for Microsoft ever since the company first launched them in November 2020.

In fact, during its recent earnings call, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, himself, mentioned a record set by Xbox Series X|S. He revealed that these consoles are the fastest-selling Xbox consoles of all time. Moreover, they have also sold more units to date than any previous Xbox device from Microsoft. And the newer series has done it in less than two years of its initial release, which is highly commendable.

As reported by GamesRadar, Mr. Nadella said this regarding the latest consoles: “[Microsoft has] sold more consoles life-to-date than any previous generation of Xbox.”

It means that the products are a hit among gaming lovers across the globe. And they have managed to succeed despite the ongoing chip shortage crisis in the world. It speaks volumes of the craze for these devices among the users. They really want to have the next-gen Xbox Series X or S in order to enjoy the best titles.

Speaking of titles, there are some really mind-blowing games coming to the Xbox later this year. To name a few of them, there is Marvel’s Midnight Suns, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Overwatch 2. Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is also set to make its way to the latest consoles.
