xQc Calls Faze Clan Members Out For Their ‘Pump and Dump’ Crypto Scam

xQc is a former Overwatch professional player turned Twitch streamer. He spent the inaugural season of the Overwatch League with Dallas Fuel. However, Lengyel’s personality was as robust as his Overwatch skills. Felix is no stranger to controversy as he was finally suspended from the Overwatch League due to his various outbursts.
The Canadian streamer has received a lot of backlash over the years but he has shown that he can dish out criticism just as well as he can take it. On his recent stream, Lengyel took digs at the various influencers who recently pulled off the infamous cryptocurrency scam.
A ‘pump and dump’ scam essentially occurs when a person promotes a particular stock so that many people invest in it thus raising the price. When it is at a high enough price, the promoter sells the stock leaving the rest to incur losses. This is what Faze members Nikan, Teeqo, Jarvis, and Kay did recently. Other influencers like Ricegum and Sommer Ray also had a part to play in this debacle. Together these influencers have over 50 million followers.

Felix ruthlessly mocked the group indicating that they spent soo much time together because they were conjuring these plans. While xQc has made his fair share of mistakes, he has never intentionally tried to cheat somebody. Faze has since issued an official statement revealing that they have removed Kay and suspended the other members from the group.

They informed fans that, “We have made the decision to remove Kay from Faze Clan and have suspended Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo until further notice.”
Despite all this, Faze Kay has held his stance that he was only trying to help his fans earn some money. His tweet reads “While I’m very passionate about the crypto space, it’s extremely complicated & I still have a lot to learn & I caution everyone to look closely before investing.”
