The popular streamer and creator xQc has made the headlines again for a very special reason. The Canadian gamer has yet again expressed his desire to make it into the Valorant eSports competitive culture. With the phenomenal success of VCT 2023, the next scheduled league is already under fan scrutiny due to various reasons. Now, with the latest statements made by xQc, the speculations around his association with the next Valorant tournament have begun.

The recently ended Valorant Champions Tour became one of the most celebrated eSports tournaments to date. Albeit, the end of the tour was indeed anti-climatic. This is attributed to the controversy of The Guard, a tier one Valorant eSports organization being able to make it to the short-listing of next year’s Americas Valorant Tour. Following the confirmation of The Guard missing out, the community broke into fumes. However, following The Guard’s troubles, xQc might be the Valorant organization’s savior.

He further added, “Since it’s like tier-one Valorant, all other teams have, like, where they’re gonna live, where they’re gonna practice, their whole support team, and sh*t like that. It’s like fully fledged out and building that might take a little bit of time.”

xQc’s friend playing CS: GO with him even made an interesting suggestion. The friends suggested the star streamer buy a CS team instead. “Yeah, but I realized that I don’t have the time to figure out the whole structure before it starts, because people need to have like a full structure,” the latter replied.

Evidently, the streamer is firmly convinced about which eSports org to bid for an investment. Also, the response to the VCT 2023 certainly helps in clarity of choice.

Earlier in March, xQc had an alleged deal going on with a two-tier Valorant roster which met an unfortunate end. According to the streamer, both parties couldn’t come on the same page. Moreover, the deal had further made a lot of headlines after the party differences surfaced on the web. Ever since then, there has been silence on xQc’s association with Valorant until now.

The fan community would certainly watch closely how the streamer’s statement develops further. Of course, a team owned by the fan-favorite gamer sounds too good to be true. However, with everything that has happened with The Guard’s team, they need a hero.
