Genshin Impact lives as one of the best gacha games in the community. Last year, the game won the Best Mobile Game award. However, the same year it did get nominated for Best Ongoing Game but lost the title to Final Fantasy XIV. Moreover, this time the community was utterly hyped to see the game getting nominated for three categories; Best Ongoing Game, Best Mobile Game, and Players’ Voice.

Notably, Genshin Impact bagged the Players’ Voice award. However, the game lost the remaining nominations. Marvel Snap won the Best Mobile Game Award, and Final Fantasy XIV defended its title as the Best Ongoing Game. Relating to this, OTK member and famous streamer Tectone displayed his unhappiness about the game losing the Best Mobile Game award.

While replying to his tweet, fans dropped their agreement while some displayed their reasoning for Genshin Impact losing the Best Mobile Game title. In support of Tectone’s thought, a Twitter user tweeted, “Yeah it was rigged. No way some new mobile game beat out genshin. Marvel Snap may be good, I don’t know, but it released officially in October. That’s two months before only. No way people had time to just crown it the best game.”

However, another user tweeted, “The better question is why genshin even qualified. Not a 2022 game. Only category it belonged in was best ongoing. The games also just bad. So even if it made sense to qualify, still glad it didn’t win.” Thus, mixed emotions and takes reverberated in the tweet thread. To give a clear view, here are the reactions to Tectone’s tweet:
