Frank Ocean is an American songwriter and singer who is wildly revered in the music industry. The Avant-Garde style of music that he composes is popular and acclaimed by fans and critics alike. But the 35-year-old has been aloof from the main stage for a while now.

After six years of break, he was making a public re-entry with his performance at the Coachella 2023. This itself is a monumental factor that attracted countless fans to attend his musical performance. But in no way did it meet the expectational standards set by the audience.

Hasan Piker was talking about the very same in his recent YouTube video. Piker was trying to bring together some key aspects to make sense of what went down at Coachella.

HasanAbi admires the discography of Frank Ocean. He stated that not everyone needs to be out in the public space if they are a celebrity. Piker talked about how keeping personal matters private is a subjective decision, and it is something that needs to be respected. But the factor that is hard to digest for fans and Piker alike is regarding the $600 worth of ticket prices. “You bought a service and he didn’t give it to you,” stated Piker.

The fans went there to witness a magnificent musical event, only to get disappointed at the end. Apparently, a video was being played on the screens which was pre-recorded and Frank was just mouthing the words. Some fans reported that Ocean left the stage many times during the performance. Moreover, the music equipment and Ocean’s crew were sort of too inside the stage that fans complained about not being able to see anything that was unfolding.

The issue began before the performance commenced. Frank Ocean was late to the Coachella, and fans had to wait more than an hour for the event to commence. Another disappointing factor that many stated was the in-rink.

Much manpower was dedicated to create it and the ice skaters were practicing for hours for the performance. But allegedly, Ocean decided to drop the idea at the last moment, which resulted in the need for melting down the entire thing which was time-consuming.

All these were causing quite the ruckus for the fans, thus disappointing them to a large extent. This may have been a comeback that fans consider they did not deserve. As Hasan pointed out, Ocean did not deliver the expected services for the hard-earned dollars that the fans chipped in to watch him perform.
