In the streaming scene, for the longest time, Valkyrae has remained one of the top female creators. Giving a tribute to the success, renowned entertainment magazine Rolling Stone featured her name on the cover of their latest issue.

Valkyrae gets a spot on the cover of Rolling Stone!

On April 17, Rolling Stone published their new magazine, featuring the online content creator Emma Chamberlain on the cover. “From YouTube to podcasting, she’s made an art of winging it, being herself, and getting everyone to follow her lead,” read the caption. This issue was dedicated to content creators and influencers, such as her.

In this issue’s cover, smacked right in the middle of a list of names of other YouTubers, was Valkyrae herself. Seeing her online tag featured on such a distinguished brand of media, Val felt very overwhelmed as well as ‘weird as the whole ordeal felt very surreal to her and her peers. On social media, she shared her thoughts.

“Really really really weird seeing my username on the cover of Rolling Stone,” said Valkyrae on Twitter, retweeting the official post by Rolling Stone. The comment section quickly got filled with fans and well-wishers, as everyone jumped to share their thoughts and congratulate the streamer on achieving such success. 

Fans were overwhelmed by the streamer’s success

Fans poured into the comments, sharing their wishes and love for the streamer. “I think it’s really really really cool,” said a fan, while another added, “SHE GOT MOTIONNNNNN!!!” and more as the positive train kept on going, pouring more and more on Valkyrae, making her feel more overwhelmed.
