Before, Twitter was just a platform for users to share their thoughts on various topics. But under the new management, the picture has become much grander. After a plethora of controversies and criticisms, Elon has teased that, soon, he may resign from his place as the Head of Twitter. But before leaving the stage, Elon has confirmed that he has big plans for Twitter… 

Elon Musk will turn Twitter into the next YouTube? 

After his controversial Twitter pole where he had announced “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.” The results of the pole played against him. And being true to his words, Elon stated, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”

Amidst all this chaos, many potential candidates for the position came forward to present their ideas for the platform. Among them were many content creators and influencers, including MrBeast. Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast shared his thoughts on a better future for Twitter. 

When Elon confirmed that the possibility of Jimmy being the next CEO is “not out of the question”, Jimmy presented what he will do for the platform. MrBeast said, “My first order of business, make it where creators actually want to post videos on Twitter and not just link to other platforms”. Where Elon replied, “Couldn’t agree more!”

After this interaction, it was clear that, even if jimmy becomes the next CEO of Twitter, the platform is about to change for good. Elon Musk confirmed these speculations with another interaction with a content creator. 

On December 24, YouTuber and Cosplayer Liv Boeree tweeted, “I would LOVE the ability to upload my YouTube catalogue to twitter & display it in an easily searchable format for followers. YouTube have mastered video, but their algorithm is annoyingly mysterious & fussy, and it punishes channels that don’t pick a lane & stick to it. Lame.”  

This tweet was successful in gaining the attention of Musk. He responded, “You got it!”. Making it crystal clear that Twitter is ready to plunge into the world of online content creation. With plans to make the platform much more accessible and profitable for content creators, Elon is all set to change Twitter forever.
